Latest Punjabi News: A painful accident has occurred on
Saturday on Kharar-Landran Road in Mohali, Punjab. A three-storey office of a
private builder collapsed during the excavation of the basement. About half of
people are feared buried. There was chaos all over after the accident. There is
a huge crowd of people at the site of the accident.
Police and common people are
engaged in relief and rescue work. There is a shortage of staff due to Saturday
being a government holiday. Because of which there is a problem in relief and
rescue work. 10 to 12 JCBs are removing debris from one side at the scene.
There are reports of two people
being removed from the debris. Those who have been sent to the hospital by
ambulance. Police, Mohali district administration and fire brigade are also
present on the spot. Top officials are monitoring the entire incident. At the
same time, 12 ambulances are stationed at the scene. Officials say our first
goal is to bring out the buried. In this case, strict action will be taken
against whichever negligence is revealed.
