Tiger Shroff’s next release is Student of the Year 2 where he co-stars with debutantes Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria.
Tiger Shroff is among the most sought-after stars in Bollywood today. With hits like Baaghi, Baaghi 2 and Heropanti under his belt, Tiger is among the top-billed actors. The actor has 3 big films in various stages -- Dharma Productions’ Student of the Year 2, Baaghi 3 and a film with director Siddharth Anand.
The actor spoke to Bollywood Hungama recently and among the many subjects touched upon, he spoke about Salman Khan and how he manages to make even flop films into money spinners.
He was asked to come up with questions for other actors. Tiger came up with this question for Salman: “How do you make sense of like ‘A flop film for Salman Khan is still Rs 100 crore plus’. we struggle to do that. So, how, do you do that? what's your secret? How do you stand in the frame and how do people go crazy over you? What do you do to achieve that?”
Speaking about his films, he has said that post the success of Baaghi 2, he did feel the pressure of maintaining his success ratio. “Definitely. There's pressure because I didn’t expect Baaghi 2 would do the numbers which it did, therefore, there's a lot of expectations among the audience for Baaghi as a franchise and not only that, I'm also doing Student of The Year 2 which is a very big franchise,” Tiger said at photographer Dabboo Ratnani’s 2019 calendar launch.
Speaking about Student of the Year 2, the further said: “I am stepping into the shoes of 3 very big stars (Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra) along with my co-stars who are 2 new beautiful girls. we've had a lot of pressure on us.”
