T-Series and BR Studios had announced a JV for a multiple film deal. the first venture out of that's the Pati Patni Aur Woh remake that is an adaptation of the 1978 BR Chopra satire on marital life. While the original had Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha, and Ranjeeta in the lead, the adaptation stars Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday. Producers Bhushan Kumar, Juno Chopra, and Abhay Chopra who last produced Bhoothnath Returns are glad to have come back together for this film. While the core of the story remains the same, the makers have contemporized it to fit today’s time.
