Two movies of Ranveer Singh released last year and both of them was blockbusters. Similarly, Alia Bhatt headlined one release in 2018 and it too was a blockbuster. Both the young stars had a great 2018 and that they are all set to recreate the success of their previous films and would be hoping to go beyond that with Gully Boy. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, Gully Boy marks the first on-screen collaboration of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. The movie will see Ranveer play the character of a rapper.
Recently, Gully Boy had a premiere at Berlinale where it received an excellent response from the audience. The early reviews of the film are positive, and actually, the movie has even received praise from Fast and Furious star Michelle Rodriguez. While the excitement for Gully Boy is on an all-time high and the movie is all set to hit the screens tomorrow, February 14, our in-house film critic Gaurang Chauhan is currently watching a preview of the movie. he's done through the first half of it and here are his thoughts about the film so far.
