Taylor Swift honored Aretha Franklin on Tues by holding a flash of silence for the late Queen of Soul throughout her concert in Motor City.
Before the tribute, Swift paused her name Tour show at Ford Field to mention a number of words about the legendary singer.
"She did such a lot for music. She did such a lot for women's rights. She did such a lot for civil rights," Swift same, as seen in an exceeding video taken by WXYZ Detroit Brad Galli. "She was one in every one of those folks, wherever even with what you same, despite what glowing, positive issue you same concerning her, it'd be a sarcasm. Words may ne'er ever describe what number things she did in her period that created our world a far better place. And this is often for her."
The "Delicate" singer then asked the audience to carry the instant of silence thus everybody may "reflect on our love and respect for her and everything that she did in her life." Swift then started to chop the lights.
