Salman Khan's Bharat Co-Star Katrina Kaif Joins Team In Malta

 Katrina Kaif is back with Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar. In 2017, the trio gave Bollywood fans one of the biggest blockbusters - Tiger Zinda Hai, and now a year later, they have yet again collaborated for a film. This time Salman and Katrina have come together for Zafar's Bharat.


An official remake of Korean film An Ode To My Father, Bharat depicts the history of India through the life of an ordinary man.


After wrapping up the first schedule in Mumbai, Bharat team is now shooting in the picturesque locales of Malta. While Salman has been in Malta for some time, Katrina recently joined him.


The 35-year-old actress recently shared a picture from Malta, and going by the looks of it, it seems she could have given a sneak-peek into her look from the much-awaited film.

Katrina looks pretty in beach wavy hairdo and nude make-up.

It is no secret that Priyanka Chopra was the first choice to play Salman's leading lady in Bharat, but she made an impromptu exit at the last moment owing to her engagement with Nick Jonas.

Soon, Zafar roped in Katrina for Bharat. And now the actress is Malta to begin shooting for one of the most-anticipated films of 2019.


Earlier, Salman had welcomed 'sundar and susheel' Katrina on board for Bharat. He wrote, "Ek sundar aur shusheel ladki jiska Naam hai Katrina Kaif .... Swagat hai aapka #Bharat ki zindagi mein."


Bharat is set to hit the screens on Eid 2019.
