The Board of Control for Cricket in
India (BCCI) in its all-important Governing Council meeting of the Indian
Premier League (IPL) has decided to carry the 13th edition of the league from
September 19 to November 10. this may include 10 double headers. and therefore
the evening matches will start at 7:30 p.m. IST.
Speaking to IANS, a BCCI official
said that it had been decided to require the IPL into another week which will
see the ultimate being played on November 10. The official also said that to
make sure that there's enough spacing between games considering the strict
protocol which will be in situ , 10 double headers are planned.

“We have decided to travel up till
November 10 then the ultimate are going to be persisted a weekday for the
primary time. Also, to make sure that there's enough gaps between games
considering the travelling and therefore the bio secure environment and keeping
of these things in mind, we'll have 10 double headers this season,” the
official revealed.
Asked about the beginning , the
official said that it'll be 7:30 p.m. IST for the evening games.
“We have decided to bring it
forward by half-hour from the regular time of the IPL which is 8 p.m. for
evening games and that we will start at 7:30 instead.”

Asked if entry of fans were
discussed within the meeting, the official said that this stuff are often taken
care of in consultation with the Emirates Cricket Board.
“It would be great to possess some

priority. So, these are things we'll ask the ECB at the proper time,” the official
said.
Franchises have also been asked to
