Training for ‘83’; Ranveer Singh to be in Mohali for Kapil Dev biopic

‘Ek Tha Tiger’ director Kabir Khan has organized a fortnight-long cricket camp for the team in Mohali in April.

The sports drama is based on India’s 1983 World Cup win against the West Indies under the Captainship of Kapil Dev.

Ranveer Singh will be portraying the Indian skipper Kapil Dev.

Apart from the cast and crew of the film, World Cup heroes Kapil Dev, Yashpal Sharma, and Madan Lal, among other players, are also likely to be a part of the camp to share their inputs and help with techniques.


Ranveer Singh's upcoming film, 83 will now be released in 2020.
