After the terrorist attack on CRPF jawans in
Pulwama of Jammu and Kashmir, a high alert has been announced in Delhi. All
the district police have been issued instructions to increase security at
important places in their area and keep an eye on the suspects.
Some inputs have come from intelligence agencies,
which have said that a module of terrorists can attack in Delhi also. Due
to this, SWAT and commandos of Delhi Police have been deployed in important
establishments such as airports, railway stations, bus terminals, metro
stations, and malls.
Security has also been increased in important places like India Gate and Red Fort. PCR vans have been deployed at major locations. The personnel of Delhi Police's Special Cell and the Intelligence Branch are patrolling the area and keeping a watch on the suspects.
After the announcement of high alert, the police personnel started the search of vehicles by placing Verikad. Delhi Police personnel have been instructed to take every information of the people seriously and examine them thoroughly. Police have been asked to investigate the suspicious people living in their area.
