Model and actress Kate Upton have announced that she and her husband Justin Verlander have welcome their first child.
The 26-year-old gave birth to a baby girl on Wednesday, November 7 and named her Genevieve.
Upton took to Instagram on a Saturday (November 10) to share their happy news, posting a black and white image of their new bundle of joy together with the caption: "Genevieve Upton Verlander 11.7.18.".
Upton confirmed she was expecting a baby with 36-year-old Houston Astros pitcher Verlander in July. She posted an image on Instagram wherever you'll see her growing baby bump beneath a red trouser suit.
Upton and Verlander began dating in 2014 and have become engaged in 2016.
They married in Tuscany in November 2017.
In August, Upton told her Instagram followers that being pregnant had given her "a new reason to appreciate my body".
Alongside an image from a lingerie shoot, she wrote: "I was so sick in my first trimester and it was really hard to get through this shoot, but I’m so grateful I had such a great team around me and now I have a new reason to appreciate my body!"
