On September 29, Rishi Kapoor tweeted to mention that he was a departure for the U.S.A. for medical treatment. He ascribed it to “wear and tear” of quite 45 years as a Bollywood actor and requested all to not speculate. However, social media has been abuzz with talk the actor suffering of cancer. His son, actor Ranbir Kapoor, however, said since the identification is a way from over it had been unfair to make such assumptions.

To spell any doubts regarding his ‘ill health’, Rishi announce a brief video of him walking on a busy NY alley with fellow actor Anupam Kher and wrote: “New York, Manhattan. “Kher-free” or is it “Care-free” on Madison Avenue with colleague and old friend Anupam Kher this afternoon!”
