Phantom Films Founded by Anurag Kashyap and partners has been Dissolved after Seven Years of work.


Filmmaker partners Vikramaditya Motwane, Anurag Kashyap, Madhu Mantena and Vikas Bahl have determined to dissolve their joint banner Phantom Films, seven years when they set it up. The four partners currently will exert their creative independence and have timely collaborations with each other, a press release on  Saturday said, while not citing the explanation for this decision.

Founded in 2011, the banner has produced films like Lootera, Queen, Ugly, NH 10, Mumbai Velvet, Masaan, Udta Punjab, Raman Raghav 2.0 and Trapped, among others.

Their last film as producers is Hrithik Roshan-starrer Super 30. Directed by Bahl, the film has a release date of January 25, 2019.

“Vikas, Madhu, Anurag and that I have determined to dissolve our partnership in Phantom and go our separate ways that. It’s been the craziest, greatest journey and the most wonderful partnership of my life.

“My three partners are my family through thick and thin and that I can’t give thanks to them enough for his or her love and support for the past seven years. I would like them nothing, however, the most effective on their individual journeys from here on and hope our ways can cross once more in higher times,” Motwane said in a statement.

Kashyap said Phantom was a dream, an excellent one and everyone dreams come to an end.

We did our best and that we succeeded and that we failed, however, but I  know for we are all stronger and wiser and will continue to pursue our dreams our own individual ways. we wish each other the best,” he said.

Thanking Kashyap, Motwane, and Bahl for being great partners and mentors, Mantena said Phantom was the most effective factor that happened in his career as a producer.


“We had an excellent last seven years and that I guess generally even marriages end. Hope to continue to be friends and should even collaborate on individual films within the future. we have a tendency to would like one another the most effective,”.
