After the Lawyer of Goo Hara boyfriend (hereafter referred to as "C") expressed that C had ne'er supposed to blackmail her with their sex tape, Goo Hara legal representatives have issued a statement.
On October 4, it was reportable that on the night of their fight, C blackmailed Goo Hara by telling her that he would provide a tip regarding her to the media outlet Dispatch, then sent her clips from their sex tape. He conjointly contacted Dispatch to tell the outlet that he had a tip regarding Goo Hara.
Goo Hara sued C for coercion and blackmail on Sep 27, alongside violation of the Act on Special Cases regarding the punishment, etc. of Sexual Violence Crimes.
After the report regarding the blackmail, C’s Lawyer held an interview with the press. He expressed that Goo Hara had been the one who had advised they film a sex tape, which C had sent clips to her that night not as blackmail however as “memories to cherish.”
On October 5, Goo Hara’s legal representatives shared a statement in response to the current interview.
They wrote, “The recent media interview given by representatives of C is clearly the second act of hurt. It obscures the character of the incident, that is that the blackmail and coercion meted out in regard to the release of the video, similarly because of the decision to release the video. we tend to severely warn C’s representatives to stop secondary acts of hurt.”
