Staff and patrons at a
Connecticut Pub got a thrill recently once British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran
stopped sure a pint of Guinness.
The New Haven Register
reports that Sheeran and his fiancé stayed at Tommy Sullivan’s restaurant in
Branford following a marriage Friday night. Pub owner Maeve Sullivan says the
“Shape of You” singer ordered a brewage before he was joined by others from the
marriage party.
A smiling Sheeran
snapped an image with Sullivan and 2 bartenders. The bar owner says the
Grammy-winning singer had “a blast hanging out” at the Irish Pub and was “very
nice and polite” to everybody who asked for photos.
Sullivan says Sheeran
is that the 1st star to go to the Pub and he or she plans to hold the image on
the wall.
